October 1 youth democratic movement "Vesna" held a rally in support of the "Greenpeace" activists, the members of the crew «Arctic Sunrise», and journalists who were detained with them. One of the activists Ekaterina Alimova within half an hour stood at the entrance to the office of "Gazprom Oil" with a poster " Gazprom, choke your oil! Freedom to activists!" and a unique gift for Gazprom - a hoax barrel of oil. Activist tried to pass a "gift" to the office , but no representative of Gazprom did not come out to pick up a gift.
"We believe that citizens have the right to non-violent protests, as it is not a criminal offense And in this situation, Gazprom acts as the state and contributes to inadequate punishment activists " - explain the organizers.

"Greenpeace" held a peaceful rally in defense of the Arctic environment , the purpose of which was to draw attention to the fact that produce oil in the Arctic waters are very dangerous. Technology oil spill in ice is not developed and oil spills are inevitable, can disrupt the fragile ecosystem of the Arctic. It is to this fact, environmentalists have tried to attract attention . Now 30 people, including activists of the " Greenpeace ", team members and journalists are in jail in Murmansk.
"All detainees should be released immediately! The charges of piracy activists absolutely absurd. Activism - not a crime"- said the activists of "Vesna".
